Mayport cruise ships

Well hello there!!! I am new to this blogging deal but thought I would give it a shot. I feel that Mayport is getting railroaded into a bad deal by trying to bring in cruise ships. I have seen how the cruise industry has treated the shrimping and fishing entities down at Cape Canaveral. Every time they want to take more dock space from the fisherman, they use the security issue as a reason to fence off more and more dock space! And when there is no more shrimpers, we will all suffer because then we will all have to eat imported shrimp. And don't get me started on about the imported shrimp coming into this country!! Those people overseas don't care one bit about the health of Americans! They have no water standards or safety standards like we have in this country!! But back to Mayport..........when the ships promise jobs for Jacksonville, that is a lie also!! There will only be jobs like baggage handlers for the day the ship goes out and returns!! There is no other dockside job and they all use onboard crews from wherever they are registered.
